11/4/10 and 11/11/10 Spirit Days

During this brief hiatus on the blog, the Academy has hosted two more A.S.C. spirit days! First on November 4th, we had 'Crazy Hair Day', and then just yesterday on the 11th, we had 'Wacky Sweater Day'. We got a nice turnout of people, so here are a few pictures of our students participating!

Also on the A.S.C. agenda, we surveyed a large chunk of the student body to see what they would like our current budget to be used for, and we received an overwhelming response to kleenex in the classrooms. It IS that season, and we're going to be needing alot more than just harsh paper towels. So starting Monday, we will be walking around handing out kleenex boxes to all the classrooms, and if we have extra, to the student lounges!

10/20/10 Spirit Day

In honor and remembrance of the recent gay-bullying suicide cases across the country, the Academy took part in a worldwide support-driven day to wear purple to school, work, or casual errands. Faculty and students alike came through for the cause and have helped to spread the message throughout our building, our city, and our homes. This vicious hatred will NOT be tolerated.

 Our school is a family, and we will support it no matter the race, gender, orientation, or age. Spread the love!
